BALI / INDONESIA
14th – 15th April 2016
Hello folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and our best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so here we go with another fresh photo gallery from where we were surfing yesterday the 14th. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with just a slight taint of off shore breeze. Wave height as it shows was in the waist to head high class with the odd freak set. Crowd wise it was pretty good until the tide started to run back in. It wasn’t until around 10.30AM that the wind started to shift to the S-SSE.
Weather wise it was just another hot and sunny day here in Bali.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Seminyak yesterday afternoon, — 1US$=Rp13,100 — 1AU$=Rp10,070 —
This morning the 15th and right now (4.30AM) it’s time for us to start getting ready for another surf mission. So keep an eye out for more news and up dates through out the morning.
Come to Bali for a week this September 2-9. Watch Tex Perkins (The Cruel Sea, Beasts etc) and Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) perform 6 gigs in 7 days at Hidden Valley, Resort on The Bukit. Slick accom at unbelievably affordable rates.
