BALI / INDONESIA
25th – 26th May 2016
Hello peeps and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Right so as I mentioned in yesterdays report we did end up taking a run down to Uluwatu late yesterday afternoon, for the low tide Racetrack sunset sess. As it shows in our latest photo gallery there were some serious tube rides going down with wave height in the 3-4ft grower type class. Surfing conditions were clean as silk and maybe around 30 surfers spread along the Racetrack section jockeying for position. But no body can surf the Track as good as the local surfers and they live for days like this.
This morning the 26th and after the usual computer equipment crisis we finally made it down for a surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. You may think why do I always us the “Outer Reefs” as a reference well it’s because they are only 400mtrs from my place. So this morning at 7.00AM there were some fun sized 2-3ft+ waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport Left / Right. The bigger waves were showing on Middle Reef as per usual. Surfing conditions were clean as can be with a light off shore wind.
Weather wise outside right now at 12.30PM the mercury is sitting on 33 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 76%. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE at 7-12knot.
The next tide in Bali today will be a 0.3mtr Low around sunset
Ok then folks that’s me for now but we will be back out on the wave hunt again tomorrow so make sure to check in and see what we get up to.
