BALI
3rd July 2013
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (The original Bali surf report website since 1999) for today’s news and views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of BALI.
Ok so we’ve been at it again with the camera equipment and here’s another photo gallery we snapped together from Canggu this morning.
Our first surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off some more and only leaving a 2-2ft+ wave breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were still pretty clean with the wind coming out of the NNE.
But after scoring some nice waves yesterday at Canggu and the conditions almost the same we headed straight back there today. Arriving just after 7.00AM to find wave height still sneaking through in the head to well over head high class. With the best waves once again on the river mouth and sand bar sections. Surfing conditions couldn’t have been much cleaner but by 9.00AM the SE’r started to kick in.
The next tide today over here will be a 1.6mtr High just after 7.00PM.
Weather wise there was a bit of cloud cover about early, and a few drops of rain here and there. But by 8.00AM the sun was busting out and the day well and truelly warming up. Currently right now at 3.40PM the outside temp is still on 30 degree’s Celsius and the wind strong out of the SE.

Traffic up date; I do have to say that today’s traffic in the Canggu area was stop / go / stop for at least 5kms and the worst I’ve seen it. Likewise you can always find a traffic jam on the south bound lanes from Benoa Harbor to Kuta. Hopefully the Toll road will alleviate some of the issues on the By-Pass highway.
Ok I think the charts are calling for even smaller waves for tomorrow but we’ll be doing our best to score some for our crew, so stay tuned to the original.
