BALI / AUSTRALIA
1st – 2nd July 2016
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf adventures since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Thanks Ketut these latest 106 you have sent through warmed me up just flicking through them. Ketut and the boys scored these waves and the photos the last couple of days along Bali’s West Coast. Looks like everyone has been having more fun in the sun to say the least.
Today the 2nd and Ketut called through to say that his 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing a solid jump in wave height overnight. At the time wave height between Kuta reef and Airport Left / Right was in the 4-6ft+ range. Surfing conditions at the time were clean with the wind light out of the NE @ 2-5knot.
I also heard that the RipCurl Padang Padang Cup 2016 was on stand by this morning but I haven’t heard any news as yet. Hopefully it’s on and the boys are getting some wicked tube rides. Stay tuned for more info as we get it. RipCurl Cup is ON.
Ok so I’ve been over here in Australia through the middle of winter the last few weeks. I said it would be hard dealing with the cold, especially after living in the tropics for around 22years. So it was only from the urge to survive that I took on the Aussie winter. There has been a Dr re schedule (Murphy’s Law) but hopefully / finally tomorrow the Dr will remove a few lumps and bumps (barnacles) out of my body and soon enough I’ll be back with my family and getting some warm water waves.
Ok have a good one what ever you’ve got on today !
