Hi folks and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and our latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Well well so here’s another 60+ photos that we have collected from up at the Gu. Even though the place gets crowded and full of snobs / zombies it has been worth the effort the last few days. Wave heigh as it shows has been averaging the head to well over head high class and barrels galore, both lefts and rights.
This morning’s surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. But even at 7.30AM the off shore Trade wind was already starting to crank up the tempo, while at the Gu it was still pretty clean / cross off shore.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny one here on the holiday isle with the midday temp peaking around 32Celsius. Wind direction has been howling outta the ESE up to 20knots.
