Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves. Hey have you got a spare dollar or two for our new camera equipment appeal. So far our total has reached AU$650.00 we really appreciate your help and support here folks.
Right so as I mentioned in this mornings Twitter surf conditions up date our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing some fun little waves breaking in the 2-3ft class. The tide was still filling in and maybe I was seeing a little tidal surge as there looked to be some nice waves peeling off on Airport Left. There was also quite a lot of reef taxi’s parked in the channel. Surfing conditions were clean with the wind only just a breath out of the NNE.
But we thought we’d take a run up to the Goo this morning to catch the top of the tide. As it shows in these 50 off photos we smashed there was no shortage of fun happening there either. Wave height was a punchy head high with a couple of bigger freak sets.
Weather wise it’s been 50 / 50 but basically hot as you would expect on a tropical island near the Equator right. The wind has been coming out of the ESE and off shore here along the West Coast since late morning.
Our Swell Forecast for this week is looking rosy towards the end of the week with a solid swell arriving sometime Thursday evening. This one will peak through Friday and then start to back off Saturday afternoon. Then Sometime Sunday afternoon / Evening we should get another smaller swell coming in for Monday and hopefully Tuesday.
