Hello friends and thanks for tuning again to the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.
Ok so we have had another full on couple of surfing days here in Bali with November kicking off with a bang. As it shows in today’s photos gallery we have been hanging out over on the East side of town for some early morning un crowded, cranking waves. Yesterday the 1st we arrived to find a nice sized 3-5ft or head to double head high with glassy surfing conditions. There was also only around 7 surfers in the water when we pulled up.
With those kind of conditions we had to go back there again this morning. Looking at the swell forecasters they were calling smaller waves for the morning so we were still going to be happy with 4 footers. But as the tide started to fill in there were some solid triple head high sets. One freak set came through and cleaned the whole line up that was easily 6ft++ We had to get one of our guests back to the airport so we left around 10.00AM and there were still some nice waves coming through but not too many of the bigger freakies.
There has also been plenty of waves breaking close to home on the Outer Reefs the last couple of days with 2-4 footers between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right.
Weather wise it has been a lot hotter than lately with Summer really kicking in here close to the Equator. Even now at 11.00AM there is only just a breath of light Easterly wind. There are some clouds drifting in and hopefully we will get a shower later this afternoon to cool things down a bit.
