BALI / INDONESIA
21st – 22nd November 2016
Hello friends and thanks for tuning again into the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some cash so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.
Well with just 9 days to go of this 8 week campaign left to run we have managed to scrape up just over AU$1,300.00 from our target of AU$6,000.00 I’d like to give the 23 people out of our average 100,000 viewers per month who did show some love a huge thank you.
Here’s a handful of photos that ketut shot down at Uluwatu yesterday morning. As it shows there were still some nice clean lines peeling down through the low tide Racetrack section just as the tide had turned and starting to run in. Unfortunately again there were no local shredders in the water at the time so it was tough work trying to get some sweet tube riding shots for ya’s. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy at the time before swinging hard off shore after lunch. Crowd wise with the smaller swell hitting Uluwatu there were noticeably a lot more learners in the water.
Also by mid afternoon wave height was was creeping up and another surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing some really nice waves hitting Kuta Reef and Airport Left.
This morning the 22nd and our 6.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing wave height breaking in the 2-4ft class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were fairly clean with the wind light out of the West and the tide still running out.
Our baliwaves Impossibles SURFCAM has also been showing some nice fun looking lines at Impossibles this morning, feel FREE to check it out here, https://www.baliwaves.com/surfcams/impossibles/
Weather wise today it’s been a mostly overcast type of day so far after some heavy overnight rain and thunder storm. Temperature wise outside now at 11.00AM the mercury is on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidy is around 80%. Wind direction has been pretty variable all morning and now feels like it’s back to the NE.
The next tide today in Bali is going to be a 1.9mtr High around 5.30PM.
