Ok so here’s another 40+ photos that I shot this morning over on the East side of the island. No chance of surfing here on the West Coast again today with the Westerly wind blowing relentlessly. So I pulled into the car park at Cetu’s Warung around 7.00AM hoping to beat the wind and score some clean conditions. Wave height as it shows was sometimes hitting the double head high mark with the wind clean and still light. It wasn’t until around 10.00AM that the wind started to increase in strength out of the West and turn cross shore on Keramas. Crowd wise there was no shortage of surfers ranging between 30 – 40 in the small line up.
Weather wise even at 7.00AM over on the East Coast it was bloody hot ! A lot of thin light cloud with bursts of sun shine, it was also super hazy and no sight of the islands Nusa Lembongan / Penida to the East. It was also hard to see the set waves coming with that short period swell.
Ok crew we really wish you all a very Merry Christmas for Sunday !! I’m going to take a break tomorrow and try to get some last minute presents for my wife and kids. But we will be back with more photos and surf reports as soon as the Chrissy BBQ smoke clears ok.
Anyone who is having ear problems had better check out our latest Product Review on the baliwaves and get some SURFEARS ear plugs
Hi Slim Thanks for the pic of my son Jasper in the green boardies and red rashy. He just turned 9. He loved the waves in Keramas.
