Ok so sorry no up date yesterday as we were pretty busy on the wave hunt and not too mention battling the traffic chaos in the Seminyak / Kuta zones on the way back from up the coast. I feel sorry for any tourists staying in that area at the moment with all the holiday traffic that is jamming up every afternoon. The good news is that all the domestic holiday drivers should be heading back to Java any day now.
But anyway here’s 50+ photos from what we have been up to the last 2 days over here. Yesterday was looking so good up at Medewi arriving to find 2-4 footers and clean as can be conditions. But within 15 mins a storm blew in trashing the pristine conditions. But, there were still waves to be had.
Today the 3rd and everything was looking good again this morning for a run over to the East Coast but when we arrived at our primary location it was a little disspointing to see betwen 30 – 40 surfers in the water with wave height in the 2-3ft+ range and conditions clean and tidy. So we doubled back to our secondary back up and ended up scoring some sick waves in the 3-5ft class with clean and glassy conditions that lasted for an hour before the wind switched to the WSW.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly overcast day with some hot and sunny patches scattered through out.
Ok folks it’s getting late and I need to take a shower and grab some food. But stay tuned cause we’ll be going back out again tomorrow to see what we can find here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
