Ok so here’s a look at the photos Ketut shot yesterday over on the East Coast. As it shows wave height was in the chest to head high range with a slightly bigger freak set or two. Surfing conditions, clean and glassy with only 20 surfers in the water as the tide was rolling in. It was also overcast and dark with some on and off again type rain while our man was on the scene.
Today the 18th and we didn’t get down for our usual surf check on the Outer Reefs due to rain early this morning, but we didn’t miss out on much with 1-2ft+ waves between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. With a fresh Westerly wind whipping it.
I also had a phone through report from Keramas earlier calling wave height in the 2-3ft range with some bigger set waves. Almost 40 surfers in the water on the lower end of the tide, the wind was clean off shore. Hopefully wave height has jumped a little more with the tide by now.
Weather wise today we started off with some rain but now at 11.20AM it’s starting to clear up and we have sunshine here in Tuban, for now. Temperature wise the mercury is on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 64%. Wind is 8-12knot+ out of the West.
The next tide will be a 2.0mtr High just after 2.00PM
Ok people stay tuned to the baliwaves cause we are going to be out there hunting up some waves again tomorrow.
