BALI / INDONESIA
10th March 2017
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok well I should have had this report online around 3hrs ago but it’s all been happening as Mr Murphy likes it. I won’t go into details but it’s sad when an old laptop that’s been good and faithfall all the years we were together finally dies. Just been salvaging a few files that were not backed up, all good.
Right then, this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban still only showing wave height in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Not to mention that the wind was also doing it’s worst (for the West Coast) coming out of the WNW. The tide was still running in at the time.
So with not much happening here on Bali’s West Coast this morning Ketut decided to take a run over to the East Coast and see if there was anything happening at the ever popular Keramas beach. As it shows in the photos Ketut brought back with him there were a few nice fun sized waves with even a few little barrels happening. Crowd wise again it was around the 20+ mark with the local surfers ripping it up.
Weather wise today as it shows in the photos there wasn’t wasn’t a lot of sun shine with a mainly overcast morning on the East Coast. Right now at 3.30pm the temperature is still a warm 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 71%. Wind direction is currently coming out of the WSW at 8-12knot.
On the swell front it looks like we still have at least a couple more days of small waves to get through before we start to see some action on Bali’s reefs and beaches again.
That’s me done and dusted for today, have a good one and stay tuned to the original Bali surf report cause we’ll be bringing it to ya’s through the weekend if there’s any waves that is.
