BALI
30th July 2013
good afternoon surfers and thanks for hanging about for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only place for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok well I guess you’ve already checked out this mornings report I posted and seen the twitter and instagram stuff as well. Anyway we were back down on the southern end of the island at Balangan. Arriving around 9.15Am to find clean and glassy waves in the chest to over head range. Both the point and the middle sections were producing some tidy rides with 25 or surfers already in the water.
We were hoping for the SE Tradewind to kick in at any time soon, and it did shortly there after. Lasting for a whole 15 minutes before swinging back to the South and then South West and increasing to something like 10knot. It wasn’t until we were three quarters of the way back to home base when the Trade wind actually kicked in around 1.00PM.,
It was pretty distracting down at Balangan today I tell ya’s. I mean I couldn’t help but stop looking. Looking at the non stop schools of fish busting up like crazy on the surface and only two lone boats (my friends) right there in amongst it all, driving me crazy !
Weather wise how ever t was all blue sky and sun shine for us here on the holiday island.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban (actual) this afternoon. — 1AUD=Rp9,300 — 1USD=Rp10,225 — 1GBP=Rp15,550 —
Ok crew that’s all I got time for this arvo gotta get the dog to the Vet and then some. But tune in again tomorrow cause we already have a plan in place to try and score some better waves.
