BALI / INDONESIA
10th – 11th May 2017
Hello folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the one and only original baliwaves.com since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok just to bring you all up to scratch on the 10th while we were waiting for the swell to hit we found some very fun and playful little waves up along the beach breaks of Legian. There’s a few pictures at the end of this gallery to show you how it looked.
But as it shows yesterday the 11th and everything lined up nicely for Bali’s Padang Padang to fire off some barrels for the boys. At first while the tide was still running out I didn’t think it was goiung to be well and truelly on but as the tide bottomed out for a low 0.3mtr Low Padang Padang turned on. Wave height was pushing the 6ft+ on some of the bigger freakies and our local surfers put on a spectacular tube riding show as they always do at this place.
Ok that’s enough mumbo jumbo enjoy the photos and we’ll be back again tomorrow with more.
Today the 12th and wave height has backed off quite a bit but still showing in the 3-5ft class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The trick for today is to find somewhere out of the strong off shore wind that is howling.
Weather wise we had some early morning rain but it’s just another hot and sunny afternoon here on the holiday island of Bali.
