BALI / INDONESIA
19th August 2017
Hi everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (Bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok just going to keep it short and sweet this morning as it’s already 5.30AM and we need to start getting ready for today’s surf mission to somewhere where it’s cranking. Yesterday we were down at Indo’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu and it was pumping through with the morning high tide session delivering some solid and thick set waves in the head to triple head high class on the Main Peak. As the tide ran out the Racetrack was also lining up some long and deep tube rides in the head to well over head range, just ask Uluwatu local surfer “Tumbling” who was getting some super deep and long barrels and always making it back out. There was also an over abundance of monkeys running around everywhere, from Padang Padang to the warungs at Ulu. So when you see these crazy little animals near you make sure you don’t have anything valuable lying around or they may grab it and bolt.
Weather wise down on the bukit it was mainly just hot and sunny with all the cloud seeming to be hovering over the Kuta to Canggu area.
Ok crew thats me for now but stay tuned for more up dates through out the day via our Twitter and Instagram feeds on baliwaves.
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
