BINGIN BOARDRIDERS PRESENTS – BINGIN OPEN SURFING CONTEST
DAY 1
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the original and only baliwaves Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weasther conditions from here on every sane surfers first choice tropical surfing holiday destination Bali.
Mt Agung up-date, nothing bhas changed excepty that a lot of people are milking this thing for website clicks. Surfing and suntans as usual here on the holiday island.
Ok we’ve been pretty busy today up the West Coast of Bali at Medewi. As usual we had some long fun sized waves in the 2-4ft clas with clean and glassy surfing conditions that saw us out for a 3 hour session. The only bummer was surf guides pushing grown men and women (kooks) into waves. These people being pushed in have no idea what so ever of what it’s actually like to be a surfer or to surf. Other than that it was anothe rfun day at Medewi.
Here’s a handful; of photos that was sent to us by Mul’s photo crew down at Bingin Beach from Day 1 of the Bingin Boardriders Open Surfing Contest. I’ve also got over 2000 more photos from Day 2 & 3 to sort through over the weekend. The boys lucked out for their contest this year with good weather and some nice waves all through the event. But right now it’s Friday afternoon and I think I’ll go and have a cold bintang beer with my crew down at the beach hey. Have a good one yourself and I’ll be back shortly with more of Bali’s Best.

Weather wise today it’s been hot and sunny.
Driving home froim Medewi this afternoon was fine until we hit Seminyak, this has to be the worst traffic area in Bali, I love to avoid that place when ever possible.
