BALI
11th -12th – 13th August 2013
Hello friends and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, BALI.
Ok so as you can see we have been pretty busy over here surfing and shooting photos for you guys and girls. Starting off on the 11th with putting in a full day down at Padang Padang shooting the RipCurl Padang Padang Cup. For starters there 109 photos and the first of two galleries from Padang Padang. You can find these in our Readers Report page.
Then we have a new G-Land Photo Gallery loaded plus a new batch of photos and surf report from our friends up at the Kandui Surf Resort in the Mentawai islands and you can find them on their respective surf report pages on the baliwaves.com.
Even something for the bodyboarders with another 109 strong July / August photo gallery.
On the 12th we were down at Balangan (photos No.42 onwards) where wave height was pulsing through in the 3-5ft+ range. Either side of the Hide tide there were some perfect waves just peeling off through the middle section.
Today the 13th and we were out at my favorite location close to home, Kuta Reef here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. Pulling up in our reef taxi at 10.00Am just as there was enough water over the reef and 2-4 footers bending along the reef. Only around 15 surfers at first and peaking at 30 by midday.
Ok everyone make sure you check out the photo feast we have for you today and we’ll be back again tomorrow with more !
NB: all photos on baliwaves.com are edited to low resolution / quality as possible for easier viewing. We do have all the original photo files for safe keeping and just drop contact us if you need a full resolution / quality original.
