BALI,

Hi surfers and thanks for dropping by the baliwaves.com (Bali’s original surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and absolute best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so after our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs to find wave height still on the decreasing end of the scale. Only 2-3ft+ between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, we bee lined it down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. Arriving at 9.45Am to find wave height hitting the Main Peak and Racetrack sections in the 2-4ft+ range with around 40 surfers spread through it.
Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light and variable. It wasn’t until I was just packing up the camera equipment (as usual) at 1.00PM that the SE Trade wind started to puff.
Driving back home past Padang Padang and Impossible’s there was a smallish 2-2ft+ wave rolling down the top end of Impossible’s.
Our G-Land surf report came through at 8.45Am calling in wave height to be still showing in the head to almost double head high sector on the Ledge through to Money Tree’s.
So if anyone is interested in going over to the legendary left hand wave, G-LAND of East Java contact me and baliwaves.com will hook ya’s up with a solid 10% discount.
Our man on the East coast phoned through at 9.00AM to call in nice waves in the 2-4ft range on Keramas with clean and glassy surfing conditions.

Talking about driving / riding here in Bali and I still can’t believe how many people leave their brain at home when they take a vacation here in Bali. I musta counted at least 40 boys and girls riding motor bikes down on the bukit and out on the highway with no shirts, no shoes and no helmet. If the Police ever reverted back to the old days when they patroled the bukit area and stopped all the riders for licence and helmet infringments they’d clean up the roads and maybe even save some lives.
Weather wise it was nothing but hot and sunny after a little early morning cloud down on the southern end of the island.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the Bukit; –1USD=Rp10,275 — 1AUD=Rp9,645 — (best rate I saw all day with the “No Commision” sign attached.
Ok folks take a tour through the baliwaves cause I’m sure there’s going to be pages and pages that you haven’t found yet. And I’m just about to head out and shoot ya’s another photo gallery.
Don’t forget to always check our “recent posts” column over on the right hand side of the page to see what’s new on site ok.
