BALI / INDONEISA
5th June 2018
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping Bali close to you since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so as we mentioned in this mornings Twitter (@baliwaves) reports there was a few waves breaking out the front on Kuta Reef to Airports this morning, with Middle Reef looking the best option for a paddle. Wave height was in the 2-3ft class with surfing conditions clean and glassy.
But as it shows in today’s red hot photo gallery Ketut was down at Uluwatu shooting the pro’s in action warming up for the up coming Uluwatu CT event that is maybe scheduled to start this Friday the 8th. Just editing these photos is exciting so Ketut must have been stoked to be shooting the photos. He reckoned there was no shortage of visiting international photographers blasting away for the magazines as well, it’s that time of year anyway. Stand out surfers in the 80 photos I went through this afternoon had to be the Champ from Keramas, Italo. F. and Jordy. S. Hopefully we’ll see some more of the World’s best surfers warming up at Uluwatu over the next couple pf days as well.
Weather wise there was some cloud hanging around over the bukit this morning but here in the Kuta area it’s clear and blue. Temperature wise the mercury hit 32 degree’s Celsius by midday.
Ok crew I’ve gotta get down the beach and do a little bit of work (new paint) on my traditional fishing boat cause the season (fishing) is coming on and I want to be out there getting my share of the catch. Have a good one and stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report website.
