BALI / INDONESIA
20th – 21st July 2018
Hi surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (delivering the goods from Bali to you since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views. From right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so the last couple of days we have been back over on the East Coast surfing our brains out at a couple of different locations. Even though the wind has been light on shore the waves have still been pretty good and the numbers in the water nice and low to go with it. Yesterday the 21st our crew pretty much had 3-4 footers all to themselves.
My sun set surf check on the Outer Reefs yesterday was also still showing some solid 3-5 ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was rolling in and Kuta Reef and Airports were looking pretty good.
What I’ve done this morning 4.45AM is loaded up some more photos from the RipCurl Padang Padang Cup (day 1). We have so many smoking hot photos and the waves were so good I thought I better run ya’s a few more.
We have also loaded fresh stuff from our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp and from The Kandui Resort up in the Mentawai islands. Not to mention our fitness guru Mr Clive Rodell has also posted another page of surf fitness. So I hope you’ve checked it all out.
Today we are planning to get out on the road by 5.40AM and in position as the dawn breaks. So stay tuned to the baliwaves via our @baliwaves Twitter feed for more news and info though out the morning.
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny here on the holiday island.
