BALI / INDONESIA
28th August 2018
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest on surfing and weather conditions. From right here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Alrighty then this morning seeing as though the wind was calm I thought we’d take a quick trip up the coast to Canggu. Seeing as though it’s been a while since the wind has held off. Normally through our “Dry season” months as soon as the ESE-SE TRade wind kicks in surfing conditions turn mushy. But this morning as it shows in our fresh and solid photo gallery the waves were cranking into the Sand Bar section of Pererenan Beach. Wave height was in the 3-4ft range with some solid well over head sand churning sets as the tide was still pushing in. There was also plenty of waves hitting the River mouth at Pererenan but just a bit wonky to barrel.
Weather wise this morning we did have some light drizzle (rain) here in South Kuta early but cleared away for a nice mostly sunny day. Right now at 1.40PM the temperature is on 30 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 72%. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE-SE at 17km/h.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.1mtr Low at 5.06PM
