Hey folks and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves again today (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) For our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok just another quiky today cause it’s getting late or more to the truth I’m getting hungry. But anyway this morning there wasn’t much swell at all showing here along Bali’s West Coast but I’d say there would have still been a few about for those that don’t bother traveling over to the East Coast. Cause the East Coast had plenty of swell to go round. If your confused, well it’s just due to swell direction coming hard out of the South and lighting up the East side of Bali.
As it shows in our photo gallery wave height was pushing the over head to double head high plus range this morning. Surfing conditions were smooth and clean early but then so was the Low Tide. By the tide started filling in the wind decided to switch to the South and take the shine outta the waves.
I also have to say again what a shame that’s happened to the once pristine beach of Keramas. I reckon by the end of this years dry season there’s not going to be too much sand left, and land reclaimed (not by the Chinese) but by the Mother Ocean due to erosion that mysteriously started some years ago.
Weather wise it was light over cast with some brutally hot sunny patched if you happened to be standing out in the open sun shooting photos (need the good angle).
