BALI / INDONESIA
25th – 26th March 2019
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) For our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
Ok so there’s been some good sized waves on offer the last couple of days and we have been making the most of it. This current photo gallery was shot yesterday the 24th when wave height was probably at it’s peak and slipping through the odd triple head high clean up set. The morning session had the most size while the tide was low and when the tide did start to run in the waves become less consistent. 2 surfers in the water when we arrived but more like 20 surfers by 9.30AM as the wind started to shift.
Today the 25th and we’d have been crazy not to go back to the same place for the low tide session. The waves were still pumping through this morning with some double head high sets still. Pretty much the same as yesterday in the crowd department, but plenty of friendly faces. I shot another bunch of photos and will have a sift through them asap cause I’m sure there’s some goodens.
Weather wise it’s been mostly overcast the last couple of days and today was pretty much the same with a few sunny breaks from time to time. Temperature wise the mercury would have easy hit 30 of the Celsius scale. Light NW wind early through till around 9.30AM before dedication more to the Southern quadrant.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is looking like it might be a touch smaller but with ni9ce light and variable wind that might just help get my crew to a change of location.
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Tuban — 1AU$=Rp9,975 — I didn’t get a good look at the other country rates due to traffic.
Alright then surfers have a good one and just CONTACT me if you need a hand with anything, and if we can help we will.
