BALI / INDONESIA
29th – 30th April 2019
Hi surfers and thanks for taking the time out to visit the baliwaves (keeping you up to date with Bali’s surfing scene since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the island of the Gods, and the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination and gateway to Indonesia’s surfing paradise, Bali.
On the 29th my crew decided on a lay day, so that was a good opportunity for me to catch up on some web work and load some new stuff onto baliwaves. You don’t have to ask me twice for a day off I tell ya.
But yesterday the 30th and we were up nice and early and on our way back up the West Coast to Balian. Arriving on location at 7.00AM to find wave height in the chest to just about double over head high range and a clean off shore Northerly wind. With hardly any swell showing back in town we knew it would be busy up at this swell magnet. Crowd wise I have definitely seen more surfers on it before, so in reality it wasn’t too bad, as it shows in our photo gallery.
Weather wise it was clear sailing with blue sky and clear water.
Today the 1st of May and right now it’s just gone 5.30AM and as soon as I get this loaded up we’ll be heading out back on the wave hunt. So stay tuned to our Twitter and Instagram accounts for our Morning Bali Surf Report as soon as we get a look at conditions.
The next tide today will be a 2.1mtr High at 8.27AM.
