BALI
19th October 2013
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for today’s news and unbeatable views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the little tropical surfing holiday island that’s got something for everyone, Bali.
Alright, so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs at 7.00Am had wave height in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left with the occasional bigger freak set wave hitting Middle Reef. Already quite a few surfers on Kuta Reef and Airports with the wind light off shore out of the East.
But still we headed for the East Coast counting on a few waves at Keramas. Arriving around 8.30Am to find wave height in the chest to slightly over head class. Surfing conditions were totally clean and glassy and the best thing of all there were only 8 other surfers in the water on the main break. The wind did pick up a little coming from the SE but even still conditions were still clean and tidy through until we left at 11.30AM.
I’ve also copied a few images from the baliwaves Impossible’s WEB CAM (totally free to view)
Weather wise, hot and sunny with the odd cloud passing through. Sun burn factor 10.
Changing dollars to Rupiah in Bali; — 1AUD=Rp10,780 — 1USD=Rp11,145 —
I also have to mention just how good the new toll road is here in Bali, if your going south to Nusa Dua or East to Keramas it’s going to save you time and petrol.
Ok we’ve got another big day of chasing waves planned for tomorrow so tune in again if you get time. I’d also like to apologize to anyone waiting for an email response, sorry, but we’ve been chasing waves hard over the last couple of months and that is our priority. So try and give me a bit of notice if your emailing Slim.
