BALI
11th December 2013
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves.com (bringing you a little bit of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the happy little holiday island of Bali.
This morning the crew and I were up before dawn and shortly there after on our way up Bali’s West Coast to Canggu. And as it shows in today’s 50 strong photo gallery there was some perfect fun sized waves on all 3 of the main sections at 2-3ft (waist to head high). At first the wind was still blowing light off shore and the tide still high enough to deliver some punchy tube rides. Then by 10.00AM the wind shifted to the West, later this afternoon it did in fact swing back to the ESE here in Tuban. Pretty good at Canggu crowd wise with something like 35 surfers spread through the whole area.
This mornings surf report from Keramas was calling in wave height still down in the 1-1ft+ region with clean and glassy surfing conditions.
Weather wise today the day got off to a great start with loads of blie sky, it was at 10.30AM that the rain started to fall at Canggu. But we didn’t get our dose of rainfall here in Tuban until 4.00PM and man did it come down hard for at least 45mins.
