BALI
13th December 2013
Hello everyone and great to have ya dropping into the baliwaves.com (since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Ok so yesterdays conditions were pretty much a carbon copy of the previous day, so it was a pretty easy decision to head back up to Canggu here on the West side of the island. Just as it shows, a consistent 2-3ft wave with the odd slightly bigger freaky set coming through on all 3 of the main breaks at Canggu. Crowd wise there were a few more takers than the day before, but still plenty of waves for the patient people. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy on arrival before the wind started slowly swinging to the Western quadrant.
Looking a little south down to Batu Balong and there was a solid crowd of learner surfers on long boards. Wave height there was also in the 2-3ft class.
Surf Report from our man on the scene at Keramas came through at 6.00AM and was calling wave height in the 2-3ft range. Clean and glassy surfing conditions with only 3 surfers in the water at the time.
Weather wise another nice clear sky start to the day lasting until midday when the clouds and rain started to dominate the sky. Mostly rainy afternoon and into the night.
