****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
G’Day crew and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com for the latest info and images to come out of the happy little holiday island of Bali.
So this mornings surf check on the Outer reefs was showing a drop in wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left Even so there were still a few surfers in the water on Kuta Reef with wave height pushing waist to chest high on the bigger sets. Middle Reef wasn’t much bigger and Airport Left probably had the most consistant waves on the Outers with sets breaking in the 2-3ft class.
I was thinking photos so I hit the road for Uluwatu arriving around 9.00Am to find wave height coming through in the 2-3ft+ range on the Main Peak and Racetrack sections. Once again it was a tube riding fest down at Uluwatu as ya’s can see for yourselves in these current photos shot today. As the tide started to push back in Temple’s also started to deliver some hollow rides and the main Peak just kept getting better.
10 minutes down the road on the way back to Home Base I was passing Padang Padang and Impossible’s. Wave height in this area was pretty well flat except for maybe the odd knee high set at Impossibles.
Surfing conditions today, clean off-shore wind out of the ESE-SE !
Tidal info; the first of out tides was a 1.2mtr Low around 11.30Am and then filling in for a 1.8mtr High around 5.30Pm.
Weather wise today it’s been nothing but hot and sunny since day break. Temperature wise the mercury would have peaked around 34 degree’s Celsius. Water temp is also pretty warm at 24 degree Celsius.
Ok thanks again for tuning into the Original Bali surf report and we’ll be back with more info again tomorrow.

I dont mind long boarders as long as they take turns with everyone else. I hate it when after every set there back out further than everyone else paddling for the next set to come through.
