Hello Bali people and yesterday the 29th we were expecting there to be still some solid sized waves hitting Bali’s coast and we were not disappointed. Wave height was still ranging between head and triple head high plus. Where we we decided on surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light off shore wind through until 8.30am. Then we settled for some glass in th transition before turning cross on shore. If my memory serves me well the crowd peaked at 8 surfers.
Today the 30th we got up a little earlier to try and match the progressing sunrise. At the moment it’s already starting to dawn by 5.40am. it was a unanimous decision to return back to the black sanded beach, arriving at 5.45am. It was just light enough to make out 6 surfers already in the water and wave height still pushing double head high. Still a few nice waves again today but it seemed like more close outs than peelers. Early morning off shore wind before swinging to the South around 9.00am. A few more surfers in the water with the crowd peaking at 14.
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny day here in Bali with the midday temp well over 30C. Right now at 4.19pm it’s still 29C with the wind fresh out of the SSE.
The next tide today in Bali will be a reef exposing 0.17mtr Low at 4.48pm
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast is calling for wave height to be slowly tapering down through out the day. Reflecting with the period also tapering off from today’s 14-15 seconds down to 13 seconds tomorrow. Wind wise it’s looking like a light variable breeze early before tending South.
Next Swell for Bali should be on the 4th of October.
