Hello everyone and thanks for dropping in for the baliwaves Sunday Session. We had to hang around for a bit this morning waiting for the rain to clear and the tide to start running in. So it wasn’t until around 9.30am that Ketut made it over to the East Coast. Not too many other options this morning really. The tide was low and here along the West Coast there wasn’t much swell showing.
Ketut phoned in from the East side saying that wave height was starting to bump a little with the tide push into the 4-5ftrange again. Surfing conditions were clean early already starting to swing lightly to the SW. That wind is no good anywhere on the island, for surfing anyway. At the time there 15 surfers in the line up.
Just now at 1.05pm our team has made it back to HQ with a full SD media card. Ketut reckons when he left around 12.15 there was still only 20-25 surfers in the water (10 used to be a crowd at Keramas) the wind was light SW but surfing conditions were still clean and the waves were pushing triple head high.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 2.19 at 2.50pm this afternoon
Weather wise the early morning thunder storms have cleared away to somewhere else. Although it’s been mostly overcast here in South Kuta. We should see some sunshine this arvo ? Currently 30C at 1.15pm, humidity is at 79%. Wind direction is WSW at 15km/h.
Tomorrow’s Surf Forecast has the wave models showing wave height to back off, slowly tapering off through out the day. Reflecting with today’s 16 sec period dropping down to 14 seconds. Wind wise like today best and cleanest conditions will be early before tending WSW-SSW
I’ve now been back with my immediate Family in Bali for 8 days, man it’s gone fast. I’m getting all the love I needed through the dark times. My mental health (as much as I don’t like those words) has improved ten fold and almost back in control. I’m still feeling the knife/laser that cut everything out of me but I feel I am slowly improving everyday. Just what the Dr ordered. I do have to return for more treatments as this cancer thing is a real sneaky bastard. But I won’t be spending 5-6 weeks in a hospital bed or have to wait 4 months before returning home. Many many Thanks to all my friends that have helped make it this far.
That’s me for today friends, stoked you called in. Keep an eye on our baliwaves Insta and FB pages for random up dates and early info. Keep scrolling below for G-Land discounts, Bali surf accommodation deals and other good stuff.
