BALI
6th March 2013
Hello everyone and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the friendly little tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Ok folks just a quicky for now as it’s getting way past my dinner time. But anway our 6.45AM morning surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing some 2-3 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the NE. Middle Reef being the best option at the time with the tide just on it’s way in.
So as it shows in today’s photo gallery I had Ketut take a run up to Canggu here on Bali’s West side. Wave height was in the 2-4ft range on all 3 of the main breaks in this area and the wind at the time was off shore.
I’ve also managed to load up another 70 strong photo gallery from Bingin over the last 2 days and you’ll find that in our Readers Report page. Thanks of course to our good friends at EGO SURF PHOTOGRAPHY at Bingin Beach.
Our man on the East side called through at 8.00AM calling in wave height on main break of Keramas at 1-3ft. Clean and glassy surfing conditions and only 4 surfers in the water at the time due to the low tide factor.
Weather wise here in Tuban today it’s been nothing but blue sky over us all day and midday top temperature of at least 33 degree’s Celsius. Right now at 7.00PM the wind is still pretty fresh out of the WSW.
BEACH CLEAN UP, as you may have read in the latest Press Release on the baliwaves this Sunday there will be a big beach clean up going down at Jimburan, Halfway Kuta & Padma St. This will get underway at 7.00AM so if your in Bali reading this come down and help out. Lets not talk about it, lets get it done ! baliwaves will be there.
