Keramas Surf Report – Sunday 12th July 2026
Ketut was back over on the East Coast checking Keramas early this morning and reported wave height sitting in the 2 to 4 foot range with the odd bigger set pushing through. The wind was light offshore first thing which kept the faces clean and tidy across the reef. Crowd wise there were around 15 surfers out, mostly a medium level crew, so there was still plenty of room to move around and find a wave.
Ketut mentioned the best of it came early while the wind stayed light offshore, holding that shape right up until about 10am before the local wind started to nudge in. The tide was up early and began draining back through the morning, which left the reef working a little cleaner and let a few longer ones line up across the bank. Nothing too major on the size, but there were enough fun waves getting through to keep the crew busy, and a few of the bigger sets stood up with a bit more push.
Weather & Tides
Out there today it was sunny and warm sitting around 26C with light winds early before the sea breeze started to fill in later in the morning. Tide wise today Keramas had a high around 8:36am before the water began draining down to a low near 3:45pm, so the reef was losing water through the middle of the day. That drop early on helped the waves line up a touch better before it got too shallow into the afternoon.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead there is a bit of size on the way for the East Coast. Monday should see 4 to 5 foot sets with a touch more period behind them, then Tuesday builds again into the 5 to 6 foot range with plenty of push, and Wednesday looks to hold steady around 6 foot. Early mornings will be the best call before the local wind picks up, so get in early if you want the cleanest waves. Check the swell forecast for the full picture.
