Canggu Surf Report – Monday 13th July 2026
Ketut was over at Canggu on Monday morning and reported it a bit on the small side, with wave height sitting around 3 foot and the odd slightly bigger one running through on the sets. The wind was light offshore right through, which kept the faces tidy, and it was a good sunny day out there. Crowd wise it stayed quiet, just a couple of grommets out making the most of it, and the size was a good fit for them.
Ketut mentioned the waves were lining up nicely across the bank once you found the right one. Nothing too major, but still plenty of fun waves getting through for anyone after a mellow morning. As the tide dropped off through the middle of the day the banks showed a bit more shape, and the light offshore held on rather than swinging around, so the few good ones stayed clean and tidy. The grommets had the place to themselves really, spread out with plenty of room to move and picking off the better ones as they came.
Weather & Tides
Right now it is sitting around 25C with light offshore winds about and plenty of sun overhead, so it was a warm and comfortable one for the crew. On the tides today, there was a high around 11:15am before the water drained off to a low near 5:44pm this afternoon, then filling back in to another high late in the evening. That draining tide through the middle of the day left a touch less water over the bank but kept the few waves breaking with a bit more shape to them.
Surf Forecast
Looking ahead there is a bit more size on the way. Thursday should jump up to around 5 foot, then Friday and Saturday hold steady in the 5 to 6 foot range, so there will be plenty more to work with later in the week. Winds look variable across those days, so the early mornings will be the best call before the local wind builds through the day. Have a look at the swell forecast for the full picture.
