BALI
20th -21st May 2014
Met Hari Raya Galungan lan Kuningan to all Balinese Hindu.
Hello all you surfers tuning into the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the best place to spend your next hard earned holiday, BALI.
Yesterday the 20th with pretty well all but flat conditions at most locations around Bali we were up long before the birds and on our way up the West Coast to Balian. Arriving just as the sun was rising to find wave height a fun sized 2-4ft with a light off shore wind on it. There were already 2 other surfers in the water at the time and numbers peaked at a lowly 20 by midday. Balian truelly is Indonesia’s biggest swell magnet, when everywhere else is tiny you can always count on waves at this location.
Yesterdays G-Land surf report from our friends at Joyo’s G-land Surf Camp was also calling in fun sized waves in the 2-3ft range with a clean off shore wind arriving by midday.
Thinking of getting over to Joyo’s G-Land surf camp for some perfect waves this season ? Just hit this contact us link and baliwaves.com will hand you a 10% discount for your next G-Land surfing adventure, as simple as that.
This morning the 21st and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was as expected showing a nice little bump in wave height. The tide was still running out at the time but Middle Reef did have a few fun looking head high waves peeling off. The tide was still too low for Kuta Reef or Airports.
We are just hanging around this morning waiting for a little more water to fill in over the reef before we head off in search of some fun in the sun. So stick around if you’ve got nothin better to do and keep an eye on our twitter and instagram feeds through out the day.
Weather wise today and we have already had some light rain earlier in the peace currently outside it’s still cloudy and overcast with the temperature on 26 degree’s Celsius at 9.25AM. Wind direction is light out of the ENE.
