BALI
4th – 5th June 2014
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves.com (bringin you a little peice of Bali since 1999) for the latest news and best views from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali and beyond.
Well yesterday the 4th and after our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs confirmed that wave height was down into the waist to head high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. With the wind light out of the NE at the time and the tide almost on the bottom of a 1.0mtr low tide. So my crew hang out for a little while longer before venturing out to Airport Left and all rekon it was a super fun session. While wave height was only pushing the head high region it was lining up perfectly.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery thanks to Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp located over in the Alas Purwo National Park of East Java. And you know, if your in Bali your only around 50 nautical miles away from one of the longest perfect waves of Indonesia. That’s more or less how far it is for the 1-5hr trip in an ocean going speed boat. So just for a change of pace here’s a nice little gallery show case of some waves and lifestyle at G-Land.
Thinking of getting over to Joyo’s G-Land surf camp for some perfect waves this season ? Just hit this contact us link and baliwaves.com will hand you a 10% discount for your next G-Land surfing adventure, as simple as that.
Today the 5th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was kinda showing a little more energy than yesterday. Still in that 1-3ft range but with the promise of a pulse with the incoming tide. Surfing conditions were fresh with the SE Trade wind already hitting gusts of up to 15knot+.
Surf Report just in from Balangan (9.20AM) down on the southern end of the island was calling in wave height at 2-3ft with the chance of some bigger set waves as the tide starts to run back in. A little more protected from the strong off shore wind as well at Balangan
Weather wise so far today it’s been mainly cloudy and overcast. Right now at 9.40AM we are starting to see some more sunny patches and more than likely just another hot and sunny day in Bali by midday. Currently outside it’s 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 82%. Wind direction is SE at 10-15knot+

Ok friends stay tuned cuase I’ve also got another surf report and photos to load up from our friends at the Kandui Surf Resort up in the Mentawai Island chain paradise.
I know a guy that wants to sell 25% share of a resort in the Mentawai Islands, directly in front of Lances Left. You can see what the deal is at: http://www.surfersjournal.com/surf_property/kingfisher
