BALI
8th June 2014
Hi folks and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (the real baliwaves since 1999) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from here on the always in season tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
This morning we were up early before sun rise so I didn’t get the chance to do a surf recon on the Outer Reefs of Tuba. Nope, instead we bee lined it down to Balangan here on Bali’s West side. The wind was already up and gusting outta the ESE at 10-14knot and the tide just where we wanted it, running out. Our first view from the top of the hill got everyone stoked, to see head to well over head high waves peeling off pretty well perfectly. Crowd wise the numbers couldn’t have been any better either with only 8 other surfers in the water. We hung out till the bottom of the low tide and notched up a couple of good sessions in the water.
Weather wise there was a fair bit of cloud about early but gradually getting blown away by mid to late morning. Right now at 5.45PM the sky is clear to the South and the wind still gusty out of the SE.
Ok friends we hope you Sunday was just as good as ours (getting close to Bintang time right now), if not get down to your travel agent and grab a ticket to Bali and lose the winter blues.
Yeah I’ve still got those G-land photos from Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp to load up for ya’s plus I’ve been sent more sick sick photos from the biggest swell of the season that just hit the Mentawai islands. So you had better stay tuned to the baliwaves, right.

I’m in kuta without a board. Stop over in Bali with the girl on the way to Greece. Keen for a day trip on Tuesday somewhere. Just gotta hire a board and go for it. What’s it gonna cost me and how do we get it happening for Tuesday?
Cheers
