****AFTERNOON SURF UP-DATE****
Hello folks and welcome aboard the baliwaves.com surf and weather report machine for the very latest news and photos of todays surfing and weather conditions here on everybodies favorite surfing holiday island of Bali.
Hmmm, and as ya’s can see in this new batch of photos I shot today the boys and I made another run up Bali’s West Coast to the swell magnet location of Balian. And compared to whats been on offer down around the southern end of the island (east & west coasts) we lucked out big time. Arriving at Balian at 6.15am to find 1 surfer in the water and another paddling out and wave height a consistant 2-4ft+ (chest to way over head). The wind was light off-shore and the waves cranking. Conditions remained this way through until around 10.00am when the wind started to pick up out of the West. But even so we scored waves through till 1.00pm.
My afternoon surf check on the Outer Reefs was showing some movement in wave height with 1-2ft+ (mainly wind driven at this point) waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll see more light wind and more swell with the chance of sneaking a few on the Outers.
Ok we’ve put in another big day at the beach and on the highway so it’s gotta be time to kick back for some Saturday afternoon bintangs maybe. Tune in again tomorrow as you know the baliwaves.com keeps the reports flowing 7 days a week (damn internet never sleeps hey.. LOL).
