Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves again today (the original Bali surf report website since starting out in 1999) for the latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the place that has some waves on offer for every level of surfer, Bali.
Just to bring everyone up to scratch here’s another 72 strong photo gallery that we shot down at Bali’s premier surfing location and swell magnet, Uluwatu and also at the ever mechanical tubular Bingin. I’d also better say a quick apology on our wave height call at Uluwatu in yesterdays report. You see I’ve always tried to teach Ketut to be conservative in his wave height calls, but calling Uluwatu yesterday at 3-5ft+ was just a little to conservative I’d say. More like 5-8ft with bigger bomb sets.
But looking at the Bingin photos which make up the lions share of today gallery was well and truelly looking like the place to be with the local surfers putting on a good tube riding show.
This morning the 19th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was still showing wave height in the 3-5ft range from Kuta Reef to Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time were pretty good with a light NW wind and the tide high.
Ketut has taken a run over to the East Coast this morning and has just returned back with some very nice photos that we will sort through and edit up for ya’s later this arvo. Another reason to stay tuned to the baliwaves, and don’t forget we’ll be out there bringin it to ya’s all weekend.
My old friend Brian A has phoned through a report from Bingin a few minutes ago calling in wave height at 2-3ft+ with 10 surfers in the water and clean surfing conditions.
Weather wise outside so far today we have a mainly sunny day and right now at 9.45AM the temperature is a warm 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is a 79%. Wind direction is now back to the South and cross on-shore after practically going around all points on the compass.
The next tide today in Bali will be 0.7mtrs at 1.30PM
