BALI
27th November 2014
Hi folks and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves.com (the original Bali surf report website since 1999) for the latest news and nest views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on our favorite tropical surfing location of Bali.
Ok so if you have been following my Twitter up dates today you’d already have a pretty good idea of whats happening here today in the wave department. Our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only showing 1-1ft+ high waves breaking (lapping) between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions at the time (6.30AM) were clean and glassy with a light NW wind.
As it shows in today’s photo gallery we headed back over to the East Coast hoping we might find a small wave or two. Arriving around 8.00AM to find a few waist to chest high waves hitting the main break (2-2ft+). Surfing conditions at the time were clean with the wind light off shore. There was only a hand full of surfers in the water and it looked like the boys were still having some fun. Up until the wind turned more to the S-SW at 9.45AM.
There’s also a few frames from the baliwaves.com Impossibles WEB CAM (hit the link) towards the end of today’s gallery showing small waves hitting the reef.
The Ando’s sent me through a text message from Canggu calling in small but clean waves in the knee to waist high range at 8.45AM.
Weather wise, last night we had our first taste of wet season rain with a super heavy shower lasting for 20 – 30mins here in Tuban. More cloud cover through the morning before clearing up by late morning for another hot and humid afternoon. Right now at 3.00PM the temperature is still sitting on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity at 70% Wind is SW at 2-5knot.
Hey and if you don’t already know the price of Petrol & Diesel fuel was increased by around 23% last Monday. Everything in Bali comes to Bali on the back of a truck, so get ready for some price jerks real soon on everything !
