Hello surfers and thanks again for calling by the baliwaves.com (working through the weekends since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from right here “on every surfers must do surf holiday travel itinerary” tropical paradise of Bali.
Ok so as it shows in today’s 80 strong photo gallery I had to go back over to the East Coast yesterday. Knowing that it was going to be a pretty much repeat in swell size and surfing conditions. And that’s exactly what it was in those two factors, 3-5ft+ waves with a mostly off shore wind before switching to cross / off shore around 11.00AM. But crowd wise when I arrived at 9.00AM the number in the water was close to 40 with crew pouring outta the resort and the guest house close by. It wasn’t until just after 11.00AM when a few of the local shredders turned up that the crowd started to disperse. The tide was filling in for a 1.00PM High and as it started getting closer the inside bowl section started to kick in for some perfect kegs.
Weather wise yesterday as it also shows in the photo gallery it was a mostly grey and overcast sky with a midday temperature of 30 degree’s Celsius.
This morning the 11th (Sunday) and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was still showing swell in the 2-3ft+ range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. At the time the tide was low and the wind already strong on shore out of the West at 10knots.
That’s confirmed after a quick check on the baliwaves Impossibles free webcam. Showing pretty much the same scenario, 2-3ft with a strong on shore Westerly.
Weather wise today we’ve got another mostly overcast sky and more of that Westerly wind gusting up to 10-12knot+ Temperature wise right now at 10.00AM the mercury is sitting on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity level is at 78%.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.0mtr High at 1.30PM
