Hello everyone and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (The origiinal Bali surf report website since 1999) to see whats been happening surf and weather wise today here on the first choice tropical surfing holiday island destination, Bali.
This morning we didn’t really get the luxury of an early morning surf recon on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban as we were on the road just before 6.30AM. We kinda made a bee line for Serangan which is around a 25 min drive from here at Home Base. Arriving to find everything in position, a consistent head to over head high waves with the odd double head high baby. The wind was also perfect coming out of the WNW at 5 – 8knot straight off shore, tide LOW. Crowd wise there would have been maybe a dozen surfers scattered across 3 different sections. Actually the numbers were still fairly low even when we packed up around 11.00AM.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here in the tropics with some patches of cloud. The midday top temperature was 31 degree’s Celsius and right now at 5.00PM it’s on 27C, Humidity is at 73%. Wind direction is still basically coming out of the West at 5 – 8knot.
Ok friends we are going to be back out on the wave hunt again early tomorrow morning so keep an eye on our twitter and instagram feeds through out the day.
