BALI
28th March 2015
Hi folks and a big thanks for dropping in to the baliwaves (working through the weekends since back in 1999) for the latest news and best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the No.1 tropical surfing holiday dstination called Bali.
Yesterday the 28th we kicked off pretty early but still managed to catch a quick look at the Outer Reefs here in Tuban. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was looking smallish with 1-2ft+ waves. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind light out of the NE.
So as it shows in today’s massive photo gallery we made our way safely through the early morning off to work traffic Canggu. Arriving just after 7.00AM to find wave height at 2-3ft on all 3 of the main surf breaks in that area, with a few bigger freak set every now and again. There were already around 50 surfers in the water and maybe twice that many by the time we got out of the water. But there were some nice waves for everyone.
Weather wise it was another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, I’d have to guess the water temperature was in the mid 20’s on the Celsius scale and perfect for board shorts and bikini’s.
Today the 29th and it’s just gone 5.20AM here in Bali so as soon as I get this report on line for ya’s we’ll be heading back out on the wave hunt. So check back in later this afternoon if you get a chance.
