****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (’99) for another instalation of the latest on surfing and weather conditions from here on the friendly little tropical holiday island of Bali.
This mornings 6.30AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have backed off down into the waist to head high region between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. There was still the occassional bigger freak set hitting Middle Reef for the half a dozen of so surfers that were out there at the time.
Surfing conditions this morning were clean and glassy with the wind coming lightly out of the North @ 1-3knot.
I did make it back down for another check just after lunch and it looks as though the waves are getting smaller and the wind is now stronger on shore coming out of the SW @ 5-9knot.
This mornings sms surf report from Balian was calling wave height to be hitting the A frame peak in the chest to well over head sector with clean and glassy surfing conditions at 7.30AM.
Today’s tidal information had us down for a 0.3mtr Low @ 7.30Am and then running back in for a 2.0mtr High around 1.00PM.
Weather wise today we got off to a nice start with a mainly blue sky but there has been some light cloud moving in since midday. Temperature wise right now @ 2.15Pm the mercury is sitting on a warm 28 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 64%.
Today’s photo gallery was delivered to us from our friends at ESP located in “Julies Warung at Bingin. We also have another 100 or so images to edit from Hendra Surf Photography located down at Uluwatu. We’ll try and get those tidied up and loaded into our Readers Report page later this evening.
