****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello everyone and a big thanks for dropping by the baliwaves ’99 for the complete run down on todays surfing and weather conditions from here on everybody’s favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
JJJust to get the ball rolling here’s the photos that Ketut shot down at Uluwatu yesterday morning. That’s the same direction we’ve pointed him in again this morning and he has already phoned through to call in wave height hitting the Main Peak and top end of the Racetrack in the shoulder to over head class, with a clean off shore SE wind on it. So later on after today’s fish BBQ here at home (conditions permitting of course) I might just be able to get ya’s some more photos to peruse over.
Anyway, this mornings 9.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to have dropped back down into the waist to chest high range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running in at the time so Middle Reef had the best size and probably the most surfers on it as well. Surfing conditions on the Outers are also clean and tidy with the wind light off shore out of the SE.
Tidal information for today has us down for a 2.0mtr High around the 11.00AM mark and then running out for a 0.5mtr Low at 5.00PM.
Weather wise we have got off to a nice start to the weekend with plenty of blue sky. Right now at 9.45Am the outside temperature is a warm 28 degree’s Celsius with the Humidity on 79%. Wind is E-SE @ 3-6knot. Sunrise was at 5.48AM and will set at 6.17PM. Another big chance for another afternoon thunder storm.
I think I saw another surf up date from our friends at the Kandui Surf Resort in my in box so I’ll throw that on line for ya’s shortly as well. Plus I’ll suss out what the swell predictors are calling for the next week in Bali and give you an idea what to expect.
