****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hi crew thanks for stopping by the the baliwaves ’99 for our “Sunday Session” on today’s surfing and weather conditions here on the No.1 surfing holiday destination of Bali.
I had to wait for the rain to stop this morning before I could suss out what was happening on the Outer Reefs of Tuban. So it wasn’t until around 7.30AM that the sky let up and I could see that wave height was down in the knee to waist high range on Kuta Reef and Airport Left, with the occasional bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef.
Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light out of the E-NE @ 1-3knot.
Tidal info for today has us down for a 0.1mtr Low @ 6.00AM and then a 2.0mtr High at midday and finishing off with another Low of 0.5mtrs around 5.30PM.
Looking for a wave today I’d be heading down to the southern end of the island to Uluwatu to find a little more size and energy.
Today’s gallery was captured by Ketut down at Ulu yesterday.
Weather wise outside it’s still pretty gloomy but we should see some blue sky at some point in time today. Temperature wise right now at 9.00AM we have a humid 27 degree’s Celsius.
Swell Predictions for the next week here in Bali are looking the best they have in the last few weeks. Hopefully starting on next Tuesday we should see a nice little swell start to show and un lock a few more locations around the island.
