****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves ’99 for the start of another weekend full of waves and the latest news on surfing and weather conditions from right here on everybody’s favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Another beautiful day coming on here in Bali with just blue sky and sunshine to have to contend with. This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs was still showing that there were plenty of waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airports. Down a smidgen on yesterday but still in the waist to head high class. With the tide once again in the process of running out Middle Reef was looking the goods at the time.
This mornings surfing conditions were clean and glassy with the wind on shore, coming lightly out of the NW @1-2knot.
Ketut hit the road for Uluwatu earlier this morning and has phoned through to say that there were a few good waves bending down the low tide RaceTrack section with around 20 surfers scattered from the top to bottom end. Surfing conditions were also clean and glassy at the time. So we should have a new photo gallery for ya’s later this afternoon ok.
I also had a text message surf report from the Ando family staying up at Canggu saying that there were some very clean and tidy waves breaking in the waist to head high plus sector up there early this morning.
Today’s Tidal info had us down for a 0.6mtr Low @ 10.00Am and then filling back in with a 1.8mtr High around the 4.30PM mark.
Weather wise like I said tonnes of blue sky this morning and currently right now at 10.45AM the outside temperature is sitting on 28 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 82%. Wind direction is now straight West @ 2-4knot. Sunrise was @ 5.48AM and will set @ 6.20PM. Big possibility of some last afternoon thunderstorms though.
Our swell charts for Bali are still looking positive for some fairly consistent waves with the next installment in transit and scheduled to arrive on our reefs on Sunday morning.
