****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hi folks and thanks for cruizing by the baliwaves.com (’99) for the very latest news today’s surfing and weather conditions from here the place that most surfers would rather be, Bali. (Especially for any Super Bank locals, with Snapper Rocks being the center ring at the moment)
Anyway this mornings mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was too me anyway, showing just a little more energy than yesterday. With wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left showing in the waist to shoulder high plus sector (8.00AM).
Surfing conditions out on the Outers this morning are not looking too good with the wind coming out of the WNW @ 3-6knot.
Pending on what the wind decides on we might take a run over to the East Coast after lunch and check it out for ya’s. So call back later this evening and we should have a new surfing photo gallery on line.
Tidal info for today has us down for a fully reef exposing 0.1mtr Low @ 6.00AM and flooding back in for a 2.4mtr High around midday.
Weather wise for the lucky people here in Bali we have another hot and sunny day coming on. Currently right now at 9.15AM the outside temperature is sitting on 30 degree’s Celsius. Wind direction has now shifted more to the West and still around the 2-4knot range. Sunrise this morning was @ 6.22AM and will set @ 6.43PM.
Alrighty then get ready for the weekend here on the baliwaves with an expected bump in wave height through Saturday and into Sunday. We’ll have it covered right here !
We’d also like to give a hearty welcome on board to our friends over at the “Dancing Pig” hamburger and juice bar in Sanur (the biggest & tastiest burgers in the southern hemisphere). So if your in the area drop in and say hello, but make sure you have an empty stomach !
And… Oh Yeah ! did I already mention to you lot that I’ll be heading down to Bingin / Impossible’s this week to make sure our new WEB CAM is pointed directly at those long long wave line ups.
Swell Forecast for the next 7 days is saying that wave height will drop off a little more through out today. Friday afternoon should see a little swell filling in into Saturday tapering off on Sunday into Monday. Then Tuesday afternoon we will (fingers crossed) see a medium sized swell generating system and a return to over head to well over head high waves on Wednesday.

G’day James, don’t take this the wrong way mate but my advice to anyone wanting to come to Bali on an extremely low budget is to stay at work for another couple of months, get some more cash together and then come over and have the best surfing holiday of their lives : )

James- That’s running a bit cheap but if you don’t need a/c or a TV there’s a small place in Kuta (Poppies 2) where I’ve stayed when I couldn’t get into my normal hotel that’s about $25/night and is clean. They don’t have an internet site so you’ll have to deal over the phone. Good luck!

But Tim, Slim has rooms with A/C, cable tv, clean drinking water, sausages and eggs for breakfast with a big double bed for only AU$22.00 close by the Outer Reefs / beach in Tuban without all the Kuta Traffic and hawkers in your face everyday ???????
