****AFTERNOON SURF UP DATE****
G’day folks and thanks again for dropping by the baliwaves (since ’99) to see what’s been happening here on your favorite surfing holiday destination of Bali.
It’s been a long long day today, starting at 5.00AM and still going now @ 6.00PM so I’m going to be keeping this short and tidy. The Outer Reefs here in Tuban this morning 6.15.AM was showing wave height in the 1-2ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Clean and glassy surfing conditions with the wind just showing outta the East.
Canggu @ 10.00AM was breaking in the 2-4ft class and some nice waves hitting the right hander and the sand bar, around 50+ surfers scattered between the two breaks. Surfing conditions by this time were perfect with the wind a little more to the NNE. The photos from Canggu I haven’t even started to edit yet so they will turn up later in our READERS REPORT page.
Uluwatu as it shows in the first 65 photos wasn’t too bad today either, right ! The last 30 odd photos I shot over at Serangan on Bali East Coast yesterday afternoon between 4.30 – 6.00PM.
Tidal info for today had a 0.5mtr Low @ 8.00AM and then filling back in with a 2.3mtr High around the 2.30PM mark.
Weather wise it was was on the steamiest days I’ve ever experienced down at Uluwatu today. Mainly clear and blue sky with the temperature maxing around 33 degree’s Celsius. I reckon the Humidity level musts cracked the 100% mark at some point.
Ok watch out for the Canggu photos later on, cause there’s gunna be more coming again tomorrow.
