****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and thanks for calling by the baliwaves.com (since 1999) to see what’s been happening wave wise on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Well ok, as you might have already noticed there is a couple of new photo galleries already on line for ya’s. Featuring none other than the ever perfect waves of G-Land and from the Mentawai Islands. Thanks to our friends at the G-land Surf Camp and from The Real Kandui Surf Resort. You can find them on their respective report pages.
As it shows in our current photo gallery Ketut has been putting in a few hours up in the Canggu area the last couple of mornings, catching the incoming tide and light wind.
This morning he has called through to say that wave height seems to have backed off from yesterdays head to double head high surf. At 7.30AM (Bali time) there were waist to chest high waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left, with the occasional bigger set wave hitting Middle Reef. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind already coming out of the E-SE at 5knot. The next tide is going to be a 2.5mtr High around 11.18AM (Bali time).
Dave’s G-Land Surf Report thanks to the G-land Surf Camp was also saying that wave height had backed off over night. But still leaving some shoulder to head high waves with a freak set every now and again. We’ll have some more photos coming from Dave shortly, as soon as the internet is back on over there. And don’t forget if you want to get over for the G-Land Experience just contact us and we’ll help you get there with a special baliwaves.com price tag, saving you some big bucks.
Alright, I’m just about down for now, until Ketut gets back from Uluwatu and loads up another batch of photos. Not to worry, I’ve only got a cou[ple more days to go and I’ll be back in the warmth of my family and Bali.
Oh yeah Troy has been working hard on the surf cam, just a minor hick up and should be back on line any moment (so I’ve been told).
