****MORNING SURF UP DATE****
Hello surfers and a big thank you from tuning into the baliwaves.com (Bali’s only original surf report website since 1999) for the latest news on what’s happening surf and weather wise here on the only place to come and spend your hard earned tropical holiday dollars, BALI.
Well as predicted this mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was only showing wave height to be more or less lapping onto a pretty well dry reef. There was a small wave hitting Middle Reef with the occasional waist high set, but nothing happening on Kuta Reef or Airports. Wind direction this morning was coming straight out of the North at 2-3knot so if that holds you might find a few fun waves up in the Canggu area. Those that braved Bali’s western “highway” would have also been rewarded with waves at Balian. But as the tide fills in for a solid 2.4mtr High around midday there’s not going to be a lot happening anywhere.
If you checked the baliwaves.com “surf cam” this morning you would have seen some micro waves lapping onto the reef in the 1ft class and noticed the cross shore northerly wind direction. Don’t be critical… of where the cam is positioned momentarily cause as soon as we do get some new swell we will re position it for the best line up view in Bali.
Today’s photo gallery has been supplied by Davey who is the G-Land Surf Camp resident photographer and these photos were taken at G-Land just before the swell dropped out. According to Davey last night wave height was still showing in the waist to head high range on Kongs.
Today’s weather report from Bali is of a mostly clear blue sky with the outside temperature currently at 25 degree’s Celsius at 9.10AM. Humidity level is at 79% and the wind coming out of the North at 4knot.
For all our surfer / fishermen don’t forget to check out our new Bali sport fishing page with a fresh up date and photos yesterday.
As I also predicted a couple of reports back the domestic holiday traffic is starting to arrive in force to Bali, so if your riding or driving take a little extra care and try and be a little extra patient ok, Oh yeah and maybe even allow for a little extra road time.
Your also going to find that most hotels in Bali have changed their prices to “higher than high season”
